“Born from the heart and resilience of an 11-year-old, Strikes Against Cancer® emerged as a beacon of hope amidst the tumult of Geordon Cox’s mother’s grueling four-year struggle against endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancer. Moved by a potent mix of frustration, love, and boundless energy, Geordon elected to stand shoulder to shoulder with his mother, transforming his emotions into a force for good. Thus, Strikes Against Cancer® took root, a testament to Geordon’s tactile devotion. Tragically, Geordon bid farewell to his beloved mother, Lisa, in November 2012, but her, and his Grandmother’s spirit Rosemary Cox, lives on in the enduring legacy.”
