Geordon Receives 2nd Chevy Hometown Hero for the City of McKinney!

Strikes Against Cancer would like to thank Chevy Hometown Hero’s Host Emily Reppert, Toby Howard, the Production Staff, Texas Rangers Mascot “Captain”, Head Coach Varsity Joe Williams of Melissa High School and his baseball program for all their support during the production shooting of the Fox Sports Southwest feature.

Coach Joe, Varsity players Grant Meeks and Cade Cruce represented Melissa High School and Strikes Against Cancer 2014 Tournament benefiting the V-Foundation in the feature.

Melissa Freshman JV Pitcher Geordon Cox, and Strikes Against Cancer Founder, was supported by ESPN public service announcements funded by a grant by the McKinney Community Development Corporation had 454 teams come and support him in the fight against cancer.
